Completely irrelevant random thought: 

Desi is played by Mike Miller. When I was transcribing the players' hand-written character sheets over to an electronic format, I misread Mike's handwriting. I could have sworn he had on the character sheet "Contacts (old Elks)." 

I didn't recall Mike mentioning anything about Elks during the game session -- either the club or the ungulates -- but I figured I just wasn't paying attention. It wasn't until I was writing something up the next day that I realized the character sheet said "Contacts (old folks)."

Silly me.
