Now that we're in post-production, I have to patch that hole. You see, it was important to the story that JD go directly to the hospital when she got the news about Coyote. (You'll see why shortly.) In play, I ensured that outcome by saying Coyote was going fast. Now, with the benefit of 20/20 hindsight, I've decided that JD goes to the hospital to comfort Nina.
This is a fairly small-scale change that has the advantage of preserving almost all of the action and dialog that follows the patch. And that's my goal as post-production supervisor: Preserving as many of my players' contributions as I can while I clean up my own mistakes.
