Unknown Armies is a game of modern horror by Atlas
Games.
Although it can be played in a variety of styles, I find it best-suited to
running adventures that have a Twilight Zone feel to them, rather than
say, Friday the 13th or Alien. I enjoy this game system immensely
because of its mechanism for handling stress.
Unknown Armies is also an interesting
complement to the other game system that I run (Buffy the Vampire Slayer RPG).
In Buffy, the characters are anywhere from slightly to heroically larger than
life. In UA, the characters are Just Plain Folks who squirm at the very idea
of being hurt.
So far, I have only one thing to offer for you
Unknown Armies folks. It's the character sheet I use for all my convention
games. I have a ZIP file that
contains the two Word templates (one character sheet with first-edition
terminology, the other with second-edition terminology) and the True Type handwriting font
that's used in the character sheets. It also contains a Word file (The Lines.doc)
that explains a house rule that I use. Without that explanation, you might have
some questions about the character sheet.
