Drakon is a game by Fantasy Flight Games. The players build a dungeon from map tiles as they try to escape from a powerful dragon. The game is well-designed and very enjoyable.
The only downside to it is that each map tile can have a special power. The powers are depicted only by icons. As a result, players who aren't intimately familiar with the game need a list of the icons and what each means in order to decide which tile to play on their turn. The game only comes with one copy of this list.
So I made up a list of the icons and what they mean (completely unaware that Fantasy Flight provides a very similar thing on their Web site for Drakon.) And while I was at it, I put a summary of the rules in there as well. When we play, I print out enough of these summaries so that every player has one. The game tends to move much more quickly that way.
Since this has been a handy thing for my players, I thought others might like it as well. I checked with the good folks at Fantasy Flight, and they gave me the OK to share it with you. Click here to download an uneditable PDF version of the rules summary for Drakon (in color, 1.1 MB).
