This page is for those who might be curious what other games I run. It includes all of the Torg events that I'm aware of, as well as non-Torg events that I run.
Note from the author: Last year, I ran only one tabletop Torg game. The principal reason for that was to help out the good folks at Pinnacle Entertainment by running Deadlands: Hell on Earth games. Now that they're back on their feet, I've had to decide what I want to do in 2002.
On the one hand, with the dwindling availability of the Torg sourcebooks, it seems cruel to expose novices to a great game system, get them hooked with a rousing adventure, and then tell them, "Sorry, you can't buy parts of this game anymore." On the other hand, I love this game system, I've consistently had fun with it, and I find it very easy to write adventures for Torg.
So for 2002, I've decided to return to my roots. I'll run some more Torg this year. If I have a reasonably easy time getting players for this game system, I'll continue to run it at future conventions. I'll also continue to run my other favorite game system, Unknown Armies by Atlas Games.
All games are 4 hours long unless indicated otherwise in the Adventure Titles, Times, and GMs column.
If you'll be running a Torg event that you'd like to have listed here, please e-mail me with the same kind of information that you see below.
This table uses the following color scheme to identify the game system:
Torg |
Deadlands: Hell on Earth by Pinnacle Entertainment |
Unknown Armies by Atlas Games |

Unofficial
demo (TORG - d20) Sat, 1900 - 2200 GM: Nevin Flanagan |
Explore the
world of the Possibility Wars as an old game pushes a new system to its
limits!
A revolutionary new variation on the popular new d20 gaming platform breathes new life into a role-playing classic. The system is still fairly experimental so those with no prior roleplaying experience may have a little difficulty, but all will be made welcome. West End Games' Torg is one of the earliest multi-genre roleplaying games, where alternate earths battle for control of our world's boundless Possibilities. You could face down sorcerers, ninja, pulp super-heroes and cybernetic inquisitors in the course of a single adventure. |
