GM Resources

This page contains tried-and-true ideas that may be helpful to someone who wants to run a Torg game at a convention. They range from "slight enhancements to the gaming experience" (doesn't that sound pretentious?) to complete adventures. Use them as you wish; make any modifications that you feel necessary.

Many of these ideas will work for a Torg campaign game just as well as they do for a convention game. Some of them are probably applicable to other roleplaying games as well. Here's the list of current and planned offerings. Click on the Info symbol to follow the link.

Props Props - Things you can use to pull the players into the adventure
Character sheet Torg character sheet template - (zipped, 22K) You'll need Microsoft Excel 5.0 or higher to use this. If you have Windows 95, but don't have Excel, you can download the Microsoft Excel 97 Viewer for free. The viewer will let you view and print a blank character sheet, but you won't have any of the functionality (such as automatic calculation of limit values)
Character sheet UPDATED Torg character sheet - (zipped, 34K) Phil Dack was kind enough to add drop-down functionality to the Excel sheet described above. Download Phil's enhancement here. Thanks, Phil!
Music Music - Suggestions for background music that I think is appropriate for certain genres
TORG Live! Rules for TORG Live! Yes, it's exactly what it sounds like: a live-action version of Torg
Sample faces Sample character faces from the TORG Live! adventure Something Wicked, and a link to the web page of the vendor whose software was used to generate them.
i Twists - Coming eventually: Slight deviations from the normal Torg way of doing things, to keep players on their toes
The Lost Armory The Lost Armory - A complete Torg adventure, suitable for running at a convention (or anywhere else)
The Enemy of My Enemy The Enemy of my Enemy - Another complete Torg adventure, suitable for a convention
