Have you noticed these symptoms in your child: They're writing, but not for their English class? They turn all of their feelings into rhymes? They hide from sunlight so they can write a novel instead? It sounds like you’ve got a writer! It’s incurable, but don’t worry, there’s a place for them!
The Young Writers’ Group is a workshop-style writing class for teens/tweens ages 12-15. In this 1.5-hour a week, 5-week course beginning on Monday, July 29th at 6:30pm, students will join a community of teen/tween writers facilitated by an instructor. The course will include writing prompts and activities, advice for writing in all genres and personalized feedback. Students will practice writing, learn to give positive and constructive feedback to other writers, and become comfortable sharing their work in a supportive environment. If you have any questions or concerns, please email email@example.com
Please have your young writer come to class with a notebook or computer and something to write with.
