ABOUT VICTORIA LILY SHAFFER:
Victoria Lily Shaffer adopted her first dog at 12, but it wasn’t until her college days in New York City that she became deeply involved with fostering and rescue, and compassionate canine parenting. After college she moved to Los Angeles, where she lives with her three beloved dogs who inspire her every day and has devoted herself fulltime to the joys and adventures of Pup Culture.
Victoria has showbiz deep in her bones, having practically grown up backstage at The Late Show with David Letterman. For Facebook Watch, she produced the 10-part baseball reality series Extra Innings with Bill Murray and Brian Doyle-Murray. Victoria is the former host of Pet Life Radio’s Tails of the City, which streamed on iHeartRadio, and is available on Audible.com. She’s worked on a number of notable TV, cable TV and streaming productions, including the Tony Awards, the Emmy Awards, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, HBO’s Divorce, and Netflix’s My Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman.
Victoria continues to meld her advocacy for animal welfare with her entertainment industry experience and aspirations. She creates her own YouTube and Instagram content that aims to inspire and educate viewers about responsible dog parenting and to #AdoptDontShop. For several years she worked as an adoption and outreach coordinator for the California-based rescue group, Mutt Scouts. This fall, taking her calling to the next level, she plans to start her own non-profit organization, fittingly called Pup Culture Rescue. Follow Victoria on Instagram @VictoriaLilyShaffer, where you’ll meet the latest members of her fabulous foster family – that regularly include a number of adorable newborn puppies.
